Software for gyms and fitness clubs

Memberships, class booking, access control, payments and a member app that people actually open. We build the systems a club runs on, and connect them to the turnstiles, card terminals and accounting you already have.

Who this is for

Businesses that sell access and attendance, where a failed payment or a full class is revenue that does not come back.

A row of treadmills in a fitness club

Fitness clubs

Multi-site clubs with classes, trainers and tiered memberships. Timetables that fill, waiting lists that clear, and one member record across every location.

Weights and machines on a gym floor

Gyms and studios

Single-site gyms and boutique studios. Sign-up on the phone, door access from the same account, and recurring billing that chases its own failures.

What we can do for a club

Four things that decide whether a membership renews, and what each one costs when it is wrong.

01

Memberships and recurring billing

Plans, freezes, upgrades and family accounts, with retries and dunning on a failed card. Most churn in this sector is a payment nobody chased, not a member who decided to leave.

02

Class booking and waiting lists

Capacity per class, waiting lists that promote automatically when someone drops out, and a no-show policy the system enforces instead of the front desk having the argument.

03

Access control that matches the account

Turnstiles, QR and NFC entry tied to membership status, so a lapsed card stops working at the door and a paid one never fails at it. Multi-site access from one member record.

04

A member app worth installing

Timetable, booking, check-in, progress and payment history in one place, in your brand. Push notifications that fill a half-empty class rather than announcing another campaign.

Where the money leaks

Clubs rarely lose members at the decision to cancel. They lose them at a card that expired, a class that could not be booked on a phone, and a door that refused a paying member. All three are software problems.

Solutions we build

The systems this sector asks for most. Each one ships as its own increment, so the first release is in use while the next is being built.

  • Member apps for iOS and Android
  • Class timetables, booking and waiting lists
  • Membership plans, freezes and recurring billing
  • Access control and turnstile integration
  • Personal training and session scheduling
  • Retention dashboards: attendance, churn risk, lifetime value
  • Loyalty, referrals and corporate memberships
  • Wearable and workout tracking integrations

Questions this sector asks

Usually. Most access hardware exposes a network API or a controller we can talk to; some only accept a card list on a schedule, which works but is not instant. We check the model at discovery and say which one you have before quoting it.

Not necessarily. If the platform runs memberships well and the problem is the member app or the timetable, we build that against its API and leave billing where it is. Replacing everything is a decision, not a default.

We build the billing logic and integrate a provider you hold the account with — Stripe, GoCardless or a local acquirer. The money never passes through us, and moving provider later is a configuration change rather than a rebuild.

Yes, and it is worth designing for from the start. One member record with per-site entitlements is straightforward; merging separate records per site after the fact is the migration nobody enjoys.

Yes. Members, plans, payment mandates and remaining balances, rehearsed against a copy first. Payment mandates are the delicate part — moving them depends on your provider, and we confirm what is portable before anything is agreed.

That is the load we size for. Sign-ups, class bookings and door traffic peak in the same fortnight, so we test against that profile rather than a normal week, and we agree in advance who is on call for it.

What would this cost?

Four questions and you have a budget and timeline range. It is a range because the width is the honest measure of what is still unknown.
