- On-page SEO, structured data and a generated sitemap
- Redirects mapped from every existing URL
- Analytics, consent and conversion tracking
How it runs
Four stages. You see the site in a browser at the end of the second one, not at the end of the project.
Discovery
We agree the page inventory, who each page is for, and what a visitor should be able to do on it. You get a sitemap and a content plan before anything is designed.
Week 1
Design
Key templates first — home, service, article, contact — then the components they share. Reviewed in the browser at real widths rather than as flat images, because that is where the text actually has to fit.
Weeks 1–3
Build
Templates become a CMS build. Every page is composed from blocks, so adding a section or publishing a new page later is an edit rather than a project.
Weeks 3–6
Launch
Redirects from the old URLs, analytics verified against real traffic, Core Web Vitals measured on the pages that matter. We hand over the CMS with a walkthrough and a written guide.
Weeks 6–8

Questions we get asked
Can our team edit the site afterwards?
Yes — that is what the CMS build is for. Pages are composed from blocks, so an editor can add a section, reorder one or publish a new page without a developer. Handover includes a walkthrough and a written guide.
What happens to our current URLs?
They keep working. Every existing address is mapped to its replacement and the redirects ship with the launch. A URL that starts answering 404 loses whatever search ranking it had earned, silently, and getting it back costs more than mapping it did.
Do you write the content?
We write the structure — what each page needs to say and in what order — and we edit copy you supply. Writing all of it from scratch is a separate engagement, and it is usually the thing that decides whether a site takes four weeks or eight.
WordPress, or something custom?
Whichever costs less to run. A brochure site on a familiar CMS is cheaper to maintain than a bespoke one; a site with real application behaviour is not. We recommend after the page inventory, not before it.

A short brief is enough to start — what you sell, who it is for, and what the current site gets wrong.
